So, I have had the regular one and now I am trying the rose.  This wine of course reminds me of the original, but it gives me more feeling of cocoa powder over strawberry than anything else, which can also be construed as honey and cinnamon.  Note to all: I don't like honey and I rarely eat cinnamon.  This wine has some nice complex flavor to it, but it is wonderful.  The color is salmon, there isn't a lot of bubbles and the finish lasts at least fifteen seconds on your tongue.  This probably would be wonderful paired with something spicy, even banana nut bread.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
